    Longboat Key Real Estate

Legend has it that Jimmy Buffett used to pull up his boat along Longboat Key’s shores, pull out his six string, and serenade whoever would listen.  It’s easy to see why he’d stop there – the beach stretches for miles and miles and the Gulf is particularly pretty in that little part of the world.

Sometimes you just need to find a cheeseburger in paradise.

Today, Longboat Key still has all those miles of beach but it’s grown to become home to condos, five-star restaurants, and even a very prestigious country club in the Longboat Key Club.  It’s well manicured with beautiful landscaping and awesome communities – and the best part: it’s more affordable than so many other barrier islands.

    Why You’ll Love It

It’s tough to beat Longboat Key’s location.  It’s right in the heart of both Sarasota and Bradenton with Lido Key (home of St. Armand’s Circle) to its south and Anna Maria Island to its north.  You’re in downtown Sarasota as soon as you cross onto the mainland and some of the area’s best restaurants sit on the key.  There’s an active but laid back social life, it’s affordable, and you just can’t beat Sarasota’s quietest beach.
